This Legendary Knife has its origins in 1956 when PUMA developed the knife for the East African Hunting Organization. It is an amazing ALL PURPOSE knife.
.
It was originally designed to handle cutting kindling, hammering tent pegs (back side of blade), and finely chopping vegetables and slicing bread. A later version of the knife, called the Automesser (Car Knife), had a wood handle and was intended to be kept in the car in case of emergencies for breaking windows, cutting seatbelts, and cutting open the roof.
